IEA Wind TCP

The objective of this subtask is first to review the existing standards and certification schemes for the recycling of wind turbine blades. Later in the task and based on the conclusion of the previous WP’s, the objective will be to create input for the formulation of international guidelines regarding the end of life of wind turbine blades: what are the recommended/best practices? Each country has its own codes, legislation, and standards: how do we harmonize that in an international plan? In addition, regarding the standards on recycled materials, the subtask will investigate and suggest content for the formulation of building codes for materials composed of wind turbine blade waste.
