IEA Wind Forecasting Final Results
Task 36 Report
This report details the main progress of Task 36 Forecasting for Wind Power during the first 3- year period of operation. 13 countries participated, and the mailing list comprises some 250 people from academia, met services, forecast vendors and end users.The Task is an outgrowth of the IEA R&D Wind Task 11—Topical Expert Meeting (TEM) “Forecasting Techniques” held in April 2013 at the Federation of the Scientific and Technical Associations (FAST Center), Milan, Italy and previous three Joint Action Symposiums since 2004.
